Oskari

Advisor

Oskari is one of our educational advisors. A long-standing academic, he was fortunate to have been educated in Finland, long known to hold a very high international standing in education globally, as well as at Oxford where he completed his DPhil.

After completing his MA in 1996 at the University of Helsinki, Oskari taught philosophy and psychology at the secondary level while preparing for doctoral studies. He pursued research on Wittgenstein, earning a Licentiate degree in 1999 and completing a DPhil at Oxford in 2003, benefiting from mentorship with both Gordon Baker and Peter Hacker.

Following his doctorate, Oskari held research and teaching positions in Helsinki, Bergen, and Chicago, supported by postdoctoral fellowships including a Fulbright and funding from the Academy of Finland. His work focuses on Wittgenstein, philosophy of mind, and ethics, and he continues his academic career at UEA.
