Nik

Nik is an experienced tutor of Science, Maths, and English with over a decade of international teaching experience across London, Moscow, Geneva, and online. He prepares students for major examinations including GCSE, A-level, IB, and Common Entrance (11+ and 13+), tailoring his lessons to suit each learner’s individual strengths, challenges, and learning style.

A graduate in Chemistry (BSc, UCL), Nik also holds a professional qualification in English Language and has taught in a wide range of settings, from international schools to language centres. His experience includes teaching at International House and P’titCREF, where he co-created and edited a series of activity books published internationally.

Nik has worked with students of all ages, from young learners developing early literacy skills to older students preparing for demanding exams and university entry. His teaching is interactive and engaging, making use of real-world applications, multimedia resources, and problem-solving strategies to help students build confidence as well as academic success.

He teaches Chemistry, Biochemistry, Maths, and English Language and Literature, and provides specialist support for entrance exams, personal statements, and university preparation. Passionate about helping students achieve their full potential, Nik combines academic rigour with a flexible and supportive approach.
