Matt

Matt is a passionate and patient teacher who loves English and helping students discover the joys of literature and language—even the challenging parts. He graduated from Cambridge University with a BA (2.1) in English Literature, and then completed a certificate in Theology before progressing to his MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission at Trinity College, Bristol. He specialises in advanced English courses in school, from GCSE to A-level and into university. He is also a mentor in providing support to Oxbridge applications as well as to the other Russell Group universities.

Matt also qualified as a SEND tutor, and spent three years working as a Student Ministry Assistant at Holy Trinity Church in Cambridge, where he oversaw a ministry of 150+ students. He creates personalised growth plans for each student, enabling them to reach their target grades while developing confidence, creativity, and independent thinking.
