Anastasia’s Journey from Uncertainty to Academic Excellence

When Anastasia was a GCSE student, she struggled with uncertainty about her strengths and future direction. While her friends aspired to careers in law or medicine, she felt out of place and unsure of how to improve her grades in certain subjects.

Through our mentoring sessions, we discovered that her resistance to traditional career paths was rooted in her intellectual originality and passion for writing. We nurtured this interest by focusing on media and content creation, which led to the publication of several of her articles. This ignited her passion and, in turn, her academic performance soared.

As Anastasia embraced her unique talents, her confidence grew, transforming not only her grades but also her mindset. She ultimately achieved 41/45 in the IB, earned a gold award for academic merit, and received an unconditional offer to her first-choice university, UCL.
